GLOW: My 7 easy tips for an indulgent DIY spa day (ok, a spa hour?).
There was a time (pre-mortgage and pre-baby) I used to enjoy going to the spa for a little massage or treatment.
Even though I don’t go to the actual spa these days, I do know that taking a little time for yourself is SO important. This is true especially now, with the busy holiday season fast approaching. In this week’s YouTube video, I’m sharing seven simple ways that I do when I want to create a little DIY spa session at home.
This process doesn’t have to take very long… I try to fit these ideas into a long shower or bath session at night or during nap time. I actually filmed this video earlier this fall when we were on vacation. Give me a big, beautiful bathroom and tub? Yes, I will take advantage of it!
You don’t need a lot of fancy equipment or product to create a spa-like feel… just a long shower or bath and some basics you probably already have around the house. Well, except for step four… I explain in the video but it is a scrubbing mitt that I swear by! It is great for exfoliating your body after a long soak!
